Capture a glimpse of what we are passionate about

We work to provide access to clean water and improve sanitation infrastructure, ensuring that communities have a reliable source of clean water for drinking, cooking, and hygiene.

Unfortunately, only 2% of the population in Sierra Leone have access to clean, readily available drinking water.  Most households lack basic sanitation. {CDC}

We work closely with healthcare providers to improve access to quality medical care in Sierra Leone, focusing on maternal and child health, preventative services, and chronic disease treatment.

Yet many still face serious challenges.

Medical Care

Nearly 500,000 children under five in Sierra Leone are stunted, and 30,000 suffer from severe malnutrition, putting them at immediate risk of death. (UNICEF)

We work to improve nutrition by promoting sustainable agriculture, supporting food security, and targeting malnutrition—especially among children and pregnant women.

Adequate Nutrition

We invest in education and skills training to boost literacy, provide vocational opportunities, and empower individuals to support Sierra Leone’s economic growth.

However, education challenges remain. In a recent WASSCE exam, an estimated 95% of students failed to meet university entry requirements, highlighting a high rate of dropouts and academic failure.

Strengthen education

We promote sustainable economic growth through entrepreneurship, small business support, and job creation helping drive Sierra Leone’s development.

However, poor infrastructure and a challenging economic climate remain barriers. Inflation rose from 27% in 2022 to 46.6% in 2023, fueled by rising food and fuel costs and currency depreciation. {(AfDB)}

Investment developed

Sierra Leone presently imports a wide range of foods that can be produced locally such as, rice, cassava, sweet potatoes, onions, wheat, tomatoes, and chicken. Improved self-sufficiency will decrease the importation of food into Sierra Leone allowing our people to produce themselves.

Agriculture employs 70% of Sierra Leone’s workforce, primarily women, the majority of whom are subsistence farme.  {FAO}

Sustainable support

The prevalence of disabilities in Sierra Leone is 4.3%, according to the 2018 Integrated Household Survey.

According to the survey, the most prevalent types of disability were lower limb impairments (32%), visual impairments (29%), and hearing impairments (9%).  {BMC Health Services Research}
